SPECIAL TRAFFIC NOTICE

 NLB Ljubljana Marathon (16.- 18. Oct 2026)

We have important information for you to make your arrival, departure and stay during the 30th NLB Ljubljana Marathon smoother and more enjoyable.

 ROAD CLOSURES

During your stay with us at Hotel Slon (Slovenska street 34), Slovenska street will be the main running route and therefore closed for all traffic. As a result, access to our Hotel by car will not be possible (Hotel will remain accessible on foot).

For this reason, we apologise as we will unfortunately not be able to offer you valet parking service during the following days:

 - Friday 16th Oct – from 10:00 onwards

- Saturday 17th Oct – whole day

- Sunday 18th Oct – until 20:00

 ALTERNATIVE  PARKING OPTIONS

The nearest public parking spaces where you can park on your own are:

- Tivoli I car park (Celovška cesta 3, distance from hotel = 1.0 km) - We recommend this parking lot due to direct connection from motorway via Celovška street – if you arriving from the direction of Graz (AUT). GPS coordinates: 46.05784454175539, 14.49908425583034 

 - Parking garage Trdinova 9* (distance from hotel = 550 m) - Coming from the Railway Station - Masarykova cesta. GPS coordinates: 46.05571674127167, 14.507239755830309. (*Streets leading to Trdinova parking garage will be part of the Marathon routes on Sunday, 18th Oct, which is why access to this garage will not be possible between 9:00 and 16:00)
