By car

Best Western Premier Hotel Slon is situated on Slovenska street 34, an elite location in a pedestrian zone but our guests who have booked a room at the hotel can drive right to the hotel door. After a warm welcome, our staff will take the guests' car to a safe parking garage nearby.

Pedestrian zone pass:

Although Hotel Slon (our address: Slovenska cesta 34) is located in a pedestrian zone, our guests are allowed to drive right up to our doors. You will see a sign at all entrances to the pedestrian area (in Slovenian) indicating that hotel guests may proceed to the hotel.

Due to this specific arrangement, please don't enter our street address into your GPS. Instead, please use one of the following locations at the border of the pedestrian zone:

- Location A (if arriving from AUT, Maribor (SI) or Ljubljana Airport):

Enter: Gosposvetska cesta 3

In this intersection turn right and drive into the pedestrian zone and continue for approx. 200 m. Hotel Slon will be on your left.

- Location B (Zagreb (HR), Trieste (IT)):

Enter: Šubičeva ulica 1

In this intersection drive straight into the pedestrian zone and continue for approx. 200 m. Hotel Slon will be on your right.

We offer valet service (33 € per car) but there are also plenty of options nearby to park on your own. The parking garage on Trdinova ulica is only a safe and pleasant 500-metre walk away through the city centre.

Driving to the front of the hotel and stopping there for up to 15 minutes is allowed for:

Hotel guests with a confirmed room reservation arriving with their own car
Other drivers dropping off or picking up hotel guests (business partners etc.)
Buses carrying guests who are staying at the hotel

By airplane

Ljubljana is easily accessible by plane. The international Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (Brnik) lies 25 km northwest of Ljubljana. It hosts flights to all the major European cities and airports.

By Bus / Train

Ljubljana has excellent international railway and bus connections due to its central geographical location. Travelling by bus and train is also a good option for short trips across Slovenia and for discovering Ljubljana's surroundings.

We are located 850 meters from the main Ljubljana Bus & Train Station.

At Hotel Slon, we wish to make your stay in Ljubljana as easy as possible by providing the following Ljubljana airport transfer options:

SHUTTLE minibus (13 EUR per person one way)
PRIVATE AIRPORT TRANSFER (62 EUR per up to 2 persons one way).

Shuttle service provides door-to-door transport to/from Hotel Slon, carefree and with no hassle. You can order it when booking your room or send us an e-mail and provide us with your flight details (arrival time and flight number). At arrival, the driver will be waiting at the exit gate with guest name written on the blackboard.

Private airport transfer: will drop you off directly in front of the hotel and pick you up in the Hotel.
