The festival will open on 28 January in the Philharmonic Hall, with three baroque masterpieces performed by renowned soloists and the Orchestra and Choir of the Slovenian Philharmonic led by conductor Bart Van Reyn.
Then between 30 January and 4 February there will be performances by the outstanding pianists Duo Schiavo-Marchegiani, János Balázs, Maria João Pires, Nicolas Bourdoncle and Nejc Kamplet, tenor Joseph Calleja and violinist Maria Andreeva. 5.
Winter Festival will finish on 5 February in Cankarjev Dom with Mozart’s famous Requiem performed by the RTV Slovenija Symphony Orchestra, the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir, the Mixed choir of Glasbena matica Ljubljana and soloists conducted by Yan Pascal Tortelier.
